FloSolve is proud to have installed the JW Speaker Lighting System for Anglo American at Kumba Iron Ore Sishen Mine.
Driving at night becomes a risk anywhere if you cannot properly see your surroundings.
The risk is heightened in areas like the mine, where any small hazard can cost a life. The Shovel section saw this risk and worked with FloSolve on a solution. Due to them highlighting the danger areas, FloSolve was able to act quickly and provide a solution.
As part of managing this risk, Red Laser Lights were installed around the shovel to demarcate No-Go danger areas to ensure all employees are safe and fully equipped to conduct their work.
The Model 527 LED Zone Lights were installed at Kumba Iron Ore Sishen Mine. This adds a new level of safety to mining and construction sites. It projects a large “Keep Out” zone of light onto the ground to alert pedestrians and vehicles to stay out of potentially hazardous work areas, such as the swinging path of a shovel or dragline.
